Statutory Wales Only – EOTAS Census – Exclusions details of a child included when that child is excluded from a PRU school (3.80)

Description

The EOTAS XML file now includes all the exclusions of a child where that child might be excluded from a school of base type PRU.

This includes the existing rules of checking the EOTAS flag and reintegration details during the exclusion period of the child as well as the new rules of school history.

So that:

• When a child is excluded from a school of base type PRU during the previous academic year
  • the exclusion details are included in the EOTAS return
• When a child is excluded from a school of base type PRU during the previous academic year and child is currently an EOTAS student
  • the pupil level and exclusion level details are included in the EOTAS return
• When a child is excluded from a school of base type PRU and also from a category of provision (reintegration school) during the previous academic year and child is currently an EOTAS student
  • the pupil level and exclusion level with both exclusion details are included in the EOTAS return
• When a child is excluded from a category of provision (reintegration school)  during the previous academic year and child is still in EOTAS provision during the EOTAS return week
  • the Pupil level and exclusion level details are included in the EOTAS return
