EY FID – Ofsted Import Authentication Change (3.84)

Description

Ofsted import no longer uses the user name, password and certificates for authentication. Instead, Ofsted has now implemented a new authentication process to use APIs.

A change has been made to the DataImportConsole to enable authorities to record the API connection details that Ofsted provide following successful completion and receipt of the Code of Connection forms.

Once the latest DataImportConsole has been run and API connection details recorded, the Ofsted imports use the API authentication details rather than the user name and password information.
