Help
The Help feature panel gives access to System Help, My Help and Contents.
When the System Help icon is clicked a split panel is displayed. This shows form help and, where applicable, field level help.
The primary purpose of My Help is to enable you to enter your own user notes. Some areas will already be populated with information but you can delete, add to or edit the text.
The My Help notes are overwritten by the .rtfs on the server with the next version upgrade.
Selecting the Contents icon will display the System Help contents' hierarchy in a tree-view style. Clicking a topic from here will display that topic in the Help panel.
For larger topics the size of the Help panel can be increased by hovering the mouse on the upper edge of the panel; when the cursor changes shape use the left mouse button to "click and drag" to the required size.

My Settings
My Settings is located under the Help menu.
Individual settings and templates are stored in the following folders set in My Settings:
- My Settings Storage Location
- My Favourites Storage Location
- My Import Files Storage Location
- My Report Templates Storage Location
- My Offline Work Storage Location
- My Offline Cache Storage Location
You have the option to move the folders to a different location. This can be helpful when running more than one copy of One on a single computer.
To move a folder to a different location:
- Select Help | My Settings to display the My Settings dialog. The current location of the folder is displayed.
- Select the required folder and click the Move button to display the Browse for Folder dialog.
- Browse to a folder, then click the OK button. The new storage location is displayed on the My Settings dialog.
- Click the OK button to move the relevant folder and all of its files. The ClientSettings.ini file is updated with the new information.
The One ICS part of the folder path within the ClientSettings.ini file is automatically created and appended by the One v4 application.
If you have already specified a new, non-default location then this is used for all the individual folders. If you change the location of the My Settings Storage Location folder, the following message is displayed:
Do you want to change this folder for all locations?
Select Yes to change all the folder locations.
Select No to change only the location of the My Settings Storage Location folder.
A check box is available if you use a portable device (USB key or portable hard disk drive) and you want your setting to be stored on the portable device and not recorded on the current workstation.
Customize Menus
The ability to Customize Menus is located under the Help menu.
It will allow you to modify the positioning of and name of sub-menus and move the components around within their menu system. Customization of menus takes immediate effect.
