Item 5.3 Work-based learning activity <WBP>

A person is reported as participating in an A – Apprenticeship when the following criteria is met:

• They have an Involvement that met the criteria for inclusion in Module 5.
• They have a Placement record linked to the Involvement.
• The Placement Start is before or during the collection year and the Placement End is not populated or after the collection year.
• The Placement Type in panel 2. Placement has an external code of E_APP – Apprenticeships.

A person is reported as participating in a T – Traineeship when the following criteria is met:

• They have an Involvement that met the criteria for inclusion in Module 5.
• They have a Placement record linked to the Involvement.
• The Placement Start is before or during the collection year and the Placement End is not populated or after the collection year.
• The Placement Type in panel 2. Placement has an external code of E_TRA - Traineeships.

A person is reported as participating in a S – Supported Internship when the following criteria is met:

• They have an Involvement that met the criteria for inclusion in Module 5.
• They have a Placement record linked to the Involvement.
• The Placement Start is before or during the collection year and the Placement End is not populated or after the collection year.
• The Placement Type in panel 2. Placement has an external code of E_SUIN – Supported Internships.
