Users are able to import school census 2026 Autumn, 2027 Spring and 2027 Summer terms collections as follows:

Autumn census

• census date – 1 October 2026

Spring census

• census date – 14 January 2027

Summer census

• census date – 20 May 2027

EOTAS

Statutory Wales - EOTAS Census

This release supports the changes to the EOTAS (Educated Other Than At School) Census 2026 return.

• The census date is January 20th 2026.

After the generation of the EOTAS Census, the generated data is validated against the WG provided XSD schema files. This is to validate the census generated data so that the correct data is retrieved in the 2026 EOTAS Census file and sent to WG COLLECT.
