School Census

Release note for Autumn 2023 (3.81)

Users are able to import school census 2023 Autumn, 2024 Spring and 2024 Summer terms collections as follows:

Autumn census

• census date – 5 October 2023
• return date – 01 November 2023

Spring census

• census date – 18 January 2024
• return date – 14 February 2024

Summer census

• census date – 16 May 2024
• return date – 12 June 2024

EOTAS

Release Note for Spring 2024 (3.82)

This release supports the changes to the EOTAS (Educated Other Than At School) Census 2024 return.

• The census date is 16th January 2024.

After the generation of the EOTAS Census, the generated data is validated against the WG provided XSD schema files. This is to validate the census generated data so that the correct data is retrieved in the 2024 EOTAS Census file and sent to WG COLLECT.

PLASC Annual Census

Release Note for Autumn 2022 (3.79)

The 2022 Annual census file can be imported via the Welsh Census FT-23 import specification with a reference date of 17th January 2023.

PLASC Attendance Census

The 2024 Attendance census file can be imported via the Welsh Census FT-24 import specification with a reference date of:

• Secondary (ATS): 2024-05-24
• Primary school (ATP): 2024-07-22

PLASC Post 16 Census
