School Census

Release note for Autumn 2021 (3.76)

Users are able to import school census 2021 Autumn, 2022 Spring and 2022 Summer terms collections as follows:

Autumn census

• census date – Thursday 7 October 2021
• return date – Wednesday 03 November 2021

Spring census

• census date – Thursday 20 January 2022
• return date – Wednesday 16 February 2022

Summer census

• census date – Thursday 19 May 2022
• return date – Wednesday 15 June 2022

EOTAS

Release Note for Autumn 2021 (3.76)

This release supports the changes to the EOTAS (Educated Other Than At School) Census 2022 return.

• The census date is 18 January 2022.
• The census will support the new ALN codes:
  • C - School Maintained Individual Development Plan
  • L - Local Authority Maintained Individual Development Plan

After the generation of the EOTAS Census, the generated data is validated against the WG provided XSD schema files. This is to validate the census generated data so that the correct data is retrieved in the 2022 EOTAS Census file and sent to WG COLLECT.

PLASC Annual Census

The 2021 Annual census file can be imported via the Welsh Census FT-22 import specification with a reference date of 18th January 2022.
