School Census

Release note for Summer 2022 (3.78)

Users are able to import school census 2022 Autumn, 2023 Spring and 2023 Summer terms collections as follows:

Autumn census

• census date – 6 October 2022
• return date – 02 November 2022

Spring census

• census date – 19 January 2023
• return date – 15 February 2023

Summer census

• census date – 18 May 2023
• return date – 14 June 2023

EOTAS

Release Note for Autumn 2021 (3.76)

This release supports the changes to the EOTAS (Educated Other Than At School) Census 2022 return.

• The census date is 18 January 2022.
• The census will support the new ALN codes:
  • C - School Maintained Individual Development Plan
  • L - Local Authority Maintained Individual Development Plan

After the generation of the EOTAS Census, the generated data is validated against the WG provided XSD schema files. This is to validate the census generated data so that the correct data is retrieved in the 2022 EOTAS Census file and sent to WG COLLECT.

PLASC Annual Census

Release Note for Autumn 2021 (3.76)

The 2021 Annual census file can be imported via the Welsh Census FT-22 import specification with a reference date of 18th January 2022.

PLASC Attendance Census

Release Note for Spring 2022 (3.77)

The 2021 Attendance census file can be imported via the Welsh Census FT-22 import specification with a reference date of:

• Secondary (ATS): 2022-05-20
• Primary school (ATP): 2022-07-22
