Message Facility
MX, One IYSS’s messaging facility, enables users to exchange email and SMS messages with clients from within the system. Messages can be sent on an individual basis, through the client record, or to groups of clients. Messages are recorded in clients’ interaction sections and form part of the client record. Email or SMS conversations are recorded as a single interaction. Users and staff members are notified by email about inbound messages that concern them.
Automated SMS notifications can be sent to clients reminding them of upcoming appointments. These are sent the day before the appointment when the MXReminders job runs.
Messages are processed by MX in the following ways:
Sending a message and receiving a response
Receiving an unprompted message
