A&T – Late Application Offer Processing (3.89)

Description

The Admissions Back Office has been updated to include late applications within the standard offer allocation routine. When the offer routine is initiated, the system now detects if eligible late applications exist for the selected Transfer Group. It then provides an option to include them in the processing cycle.

Prerequisites

The Transfer Group window must be enabled for late applications, and late applications must be submitted through the Citizens Portal.

During the Make Offers process, users must select Yes, include when prompted with Do you want to include late applications? to incorporate them into the current allocation. LA users only see this prompt when eligible late submissions exist for the selected Transfer Group.

Late applications included in the routine are processed based on standard preference and allocation rules. If a user chooses not to include late applications, their status remains Not processed under preferences. Once offers are published online, parents and carers can view and respond to (accept/reject) late application offers via the Citizens Portal.
