Providers can now upload files against their services.

Configuration

A number of configuration options control whether providers can upload files.  There is the ability to specify the following:

  • Switch the File Upload tab on
  • Which file type extensions can be uploaded
  • The number of files that can be uploaded per service in one submission (between 1 and 5)
  • Whether providers can delete the files they have uploaded

Access to this screen is given by the permission below.

Permissions

A new permission has been introduced that controls whether users/groups can access the Provider Self Update Portal |Admin | File Upload tile.

The new permission is called  ‘Self Update File Upload’

The Permission can be found in the location below:

v4 client | Tools | Permissions | User Group Processes | Main Business Process – Provider portal

Managing Uploaded Files

Local authority staff (with  appropriate permissions) can view the files that have been uploaded by providers.  They can then select whether to delete or link the file as a linked document against the services record in the v4 client.
