SEN/SEND – Additional ‘Inactive Reasons’ introduced for Assessment Involvements (3.75.011 & 3.76.001)
Description
The following lookup codes have been added to lookup table 0328 – Inactive Reason:

| EMP | Moved to paid employment, excluding apprenticeships | EMP | Moved to paid employment, excluding apprenticeships |
| NOE | Young person doesn’t wish to engage in education | NOE | Young Person doesn’t wish to engage in education |
| ABR | Child or young person has moved abroad | ABR | Child or young person has moved abroad |
| DEC | Child or young person deceased | DEC | Child or young person deceased |
These lookup codes can be recorded as an Inactive Reason on an EHCP Assessment Involvement, EHCP Re-assessment Involvement and SEN Assessment Involvement.
These Inactive Reasons have been added so they can be reported in Item 5.2 Reason EHC plan ceased.
