SEND – Changes to support SEN2 2025 return (3.83)
Description
The following changes have been made to support the SEN2 return for 2025.
Designated Social Care Officer
Analysis Reporting > Data Collection > SEN Returns
The LA Level Return Details panel has a new question to record the Designated Social Care Officer.

Involvement Source lookup table (1052)
The external codes in the Involvement Source lookup table have been updated to align with the DfE.

Draft Amended EHC plan date <ReviewDraft>
A draft amended EHC plan date can now be recorded in the EHCP Review Involvement in a new panel:
- An external code of DAEHCP – Draft amended EHC plan has been added to lookup table Type of Amendment (0321).
- An 09. amendments panel is now available in EHCP Review Involvements.

- The 09. amendment panel is shared across EHCP Review Involvements and Assessment Involvements for a child/young person based on whether the EHCP Review Involvement is linked to the Assessment Involvement.

New Review Type for EHCP Review Involvements for Phase Transfers
When users complete an EHCP Assessment Involvement or issue the final EHC plan on the Assessment Involvement, they are prompted to create an EHCP Review Involvement.
If they choose to do so, they can select the Review Type to be Phase Transfer. This enables the Phase Transfer Review Date field on the Create Review dialog (or Create Next Review when from an EHCP Review Involvement).

If an EHCP Review Involvement is created outside of this process, the Phase Transfer Review Date field is only enabled when the Review Type is Phase Transfer.

A Review Type of Phase Transfer is created via Focus | Services | EHCP Administration | EHCP Review Type Setup | EHCP Review Enquiry.

Final EHC plan issued date following a phase transfer review <PhaseTransferFinalDate>
A final EHC plan issued date can now be recorded in the EHCP Review Involvement in the new panel 09. amendments:
- An external code of PTF – Final issued after phase transfer has been added to lookup table Type of Amendment (0321).
