- The data validation checks have been updated and the error messages amended

– The pre-key stage standards are to be used for assessing pupils engaged in
subject-specific study, who are working below the standard of national curriculum assessments
– For reading, writing and maths, the pre-key stage standards should be used for pupils that have not met the statements defined for ‘WTS’ but are working above ‘P’ scales
- Teachers need to determine in each subject whether:
– a pupil is at the expected standard for each subject: reading/writing/mathematics/science
– a pupil is working towards the expected standard, or working at a greater depth within the expected standard (all subjects above except for science)
– a pupil has not met the standard in science
– where applicable, a pupil is working at pre-key stage standards, or whether they have not met the expected standard for English reading, English writing and mathematics
– whether a pupil is working below defined standards and/or is working at P-scales
