Youth Justice – New AssetPlus Questions and Subsections (3.71 & 3.70.103)
Description
AssetPlus has been updated with new questions and subsections as follow:
YJB (Youth Justice Board) has introduced new AssetPlus questions that are in the YJ statutory service pack. After the service pack has been applied the questions appear in AssetPlus Parenting Family and Relationship screen for:
- New AssetPlus stages created
- Cases that are currently Active and ‘In Progress’
- Case Transfer cases completed after 1st April 2020
The 2 new questions are shown in graphic below:
All cases that have been Completed, Stopped or Cancelled after 1st April 2020 and before the YJ statutory service pack has been applied will NOT see these questions.
Accommodation Data
Accommodation data can be recorded via two additional sub-sections added to AssetPlus panel for statutory purposes. The new sub-sections, Resettlement and End of Licence are located under ‘Pathways & Planning‘.
Resettlement – Consists of date fields and a list of questions with dropdown list answers for selection. This section only appears for the following Asset Plus stages:
- Placement Notification
- Post Court Report
- ‘Review’ for clients subject to a custodial sentence.
- ‘Entering into Custody’. This stage is created by Secured Estates only
The date fields and list of questions is also displayed in Leaving Custody | Release arrangements when Pre-Release from Custody stage is created.
End of Licence – consist of two questions which displayed when Current Intervention Programme type is a ‘Licence’ and the Asset Plus stage type is ‘Case Closure’ and the young person is subject to a custodial sentence.
Case Transfer Cases
The accommodation information for client(s) that have been imported as part of Case Transfer appear in Leaving Custody | Release arrangement section for the AssetPlus stage ‘Entering into Custody’ created by Secure Estate. All answers selected to each question display.
Note: Cases that have been Completed, Stopped or Cancelled before this release will NOT see the new sub-sections and their contents.
Countylines Activity

County lines activities for a young person can be recorded in the Network Group section of Family and wider networks.
Two new questions, as shown below, are available for selection.
- Is the young person vulnerable to criminal exploitation?
- Is the young person at risk or suspected to be involved in county lines activity?
The Further Exploration pane will only be available if any of the answer below is selected for ‘county lines activity’, which are :
- At risk
- Suspected to be involved
- Known to be involved
- Has previously been involved
