A&T – Alternative offers now display to parents/schools on portals (3.89)

Description

Previously, any allocated preference higher than the system-defined preference number was hidden from schools on the School Admissions Portal (SAP) and from parents via the Citizen Portal (CP).

The Citizen Portal (CP) has been updated to display alternative offers to parents. This update ensures full transparency for parents. It allows them to see the specific school place offered to their child by the LA, even if it was an alternative offer.

The School Admissions Portal (SAP) has been updated to ensure that alternative offers are now visible to receiving schools. This update ensures full transparency for school users. It allows them to see all additional places allocated to their school by the LA, regardless of the original preference ranking.

These changes are part of the broader effort to support the statutory admissions process.
