Statutory Wales – Census validations updated for ALN Support Plan (3.90)

Description

New census validation logic has been implemented. It supports the transition from SEN Provision to ALN Support Plan.

The system now compares the latest ALN Support Plan record in the SEN_STAGE_HIST table (based on the snapshot date) and the data imported via the PLASC Annual census file.

This update complies with Welsh Government statutory requirements, where SEN Provision has been renamed to ALN Support Plan. It ensures that users in Wales receive accurate validation feedback when there is a mismatch between system records and imported census data.

Users must enable the new ALN Support Plan checkbox within the Census Options screen in the application.

The following error messages display for mismatches when running the census:

  • If the latest ALN Support Plan does not match the imported PLASC file
    ALN Support Plan conflict
  • If the records match successfully
    No conflict message displays
