Statutory Wales – EOTAS Census 2027 (3.90)
Description
This release supports the changes to the EOTAS (Educated Other Than At School) Census 2026 return.
The census date is January 19th 2027.
Data is validated against the WG provided XSD schema files. Ensures the correct data is sent to WG COLLECT.
The EOTAS (Educated Other Than At School) Census 2027 return can now be exported with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Latest ALN Details are collected for export from the new ALN Details panel.
The details must be taken from the ALN Details when the Date of Decision is after the last statutory data collection date. Must be on or before current census date (e.g. for 2027, Date of Decision is in between 21/01/2026 to 20/01/2027).

Exclusion reason codes
A new exclusion reason code, OW – Use or threat of use of an offensive weapon or prohibited item, has been added. It is included in the EOTAS return alongside existing codes such as PP, PA, and BU.
