Technical – RW Netserver change for GIS (3.76)
Description
From 3.76, an updated version of the ONE routing service, RWNetserver, will be available to implement. This should improve the performance of GIS functions across ONE.
The current service will continue to be available until LAs are ready to switch to the new component. Both components will be included in the 3.76 release media.
We recommend LAs configure the new component before decommissioning the current one; this will allow testing to be performed in TEST environments without risk to your LIVE environment.
New parameter
When the new component is installed and changes completed, there is a new System Defaults Parameter GISSCHEMA to control which version is in use.
