IYSS – New Client Merge process (3.81)
Description
To improve data management and eradicate duplicate records, IYSS System Administrators are now able to merge IYSS client records.
IMPORTANT: As this gives permission to merge data and make IYSS client records inactive, the Client Merge permission should only be granted to One IYSS System Administrators who have responsibility for and understanding of system maintenance.
The Local Authority is responsible for the protection of personal client data. By granting the Client Merge permission to users without YJ permission, you accept the risk of protected characteristics potentially being disclosed without lawful purpose.
Client Merge is accessed from the new System Admin panel on the homepage once the required permission has been given in Security Group > Client Functionality.
IYSS > Admin/ Manager > System Admin > Client Merge
Enter the IDs to be merged and click Search.
Check the data, enter comments as required and click continue.
- Only 2 records may be merged
- Only IYSS clients can be merged
- YJ clients are excluded from the search
- All interactions and attached documents in the duplicate record are added to the master record
- Once the merge is done, the duplicate record is made inactive
- Automated Client Merge interaction added to master and duplicate client records
