Snapshots

The system requires a 'Snapshot' date to be set against each Key Stage, Key Stage 1 – Phonics and Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) so that it can identify what Base a student was at for a given Stage and its associated results. This information is then available for export to the DfE.

Select Focus | Analysis Reporting | SnapshotsSnapshots  This path may be different if the Menu has been customised to open the Snapshot Enquiry.

Snapshot Enquiry

This panel is opened when Focus | Analysis Reporting | Snapshots is selected. It allows you to search for existing Snapshots.

To find the required Snapshot enter a full or partial description in the Name field.

Clicking Search will return a list of Snapshots matching the selection criteria. The Name and Description of each snapshot can be seen in the lower panel by highlighting a record and clicking the Open icon. You may expand or collapse a panel by clicking the iconicon  the arrows on the icon will invert appropriate to the next available action.

Click the Next and Previous icons to move to a different record, the details for that Snapshot will appear in the panel below.

Double clicking on an item in the list or clicking Open In New Window will open the selected Snapshot in a new scrollable window displaying the Snapshot Details.

If a new Snapshot is required click on the New icon to open the Snapshot Details [New Snapshot] window.

Snapshot Details

The Snapshot Detail window is opened from a Snapshot Enquiry. Enter details in the Name and Description fields. Click Save.

Created, Last Populated, Populated By and Report Manager fields are filled automatically.

Click Add to link an Area, Cluster or Grouping to the Snapshot. Highlight a record and click Remove if necessary. Click on a column headingheading  Name, Type, Description to change the order of the list.

New snapshots can be added from here or a snapshot can be Cloned.  When a snapshot is cloned the Name and Description can be edited.

To generate a snapshot click on the Generate icon. The name of the person who generated the snapshot will show in the Populated By field.

Clicking on the Start Report Manager icon opens the SQL Reporting Server.
