Early Years – Funded Service: multiple providers (3.86)
Description
A check is made to see if more than the maximum hours allowed is being claimed. This is across all providers in a term. If so, the system flags up that an apportionment is required. Hours are defined for that period in Focus | Early Years | Early Years setup | Define Early Years Payment Period.

For example if the child is:
- Exceeding the total number of funded hours (according to the parent period cap) across multiple providers

Previously claims were only allowed for either funded OR expanded hours. Now, apportionment can be managed across both.
