SEN/SEND – Recording the LA a person has transferred out to when a decision to assess has been reached but the assessment is subsequently exported to another local authority (3.75.011 & 3.76.001)
Description
A new field has been introduced – LA Transferred out to.
This functionality has been introduced so that the 3 digit LA code a child or young person transferred out to can be reported in Item 2.7 Assessment completed by another LA in the SEN2 person level return.
When the Inactive Reason on an EHCP Assessment, EHCP Re-Assessment & SEN Assessment Involvement has an external code of MOV – Moved to other LEA, LAs can record the LA transferred out to.
The values that can be selected from the LA transferred out to field are taken from lookup table 0106 – LEA Name.
An error message of LA transferred out to needs to be recorded is presented when saving the involvement when the following criteria are met:
- the Inactive Reason on the involvement has an external code of MOV – Moved to other LEA AND
- the Phase 1 Notified Date is populated AND
- the Assessment Completed Date is NOT populated
The new LA transferred out to field is recorded in the audit log.
