A&T – PAN of zero can now be added to Band Details (3.89)
Description
The Admissions and Transfers (A&T) system has been updated to allow the creation and management of admission bands with a Published Admission Number (PAN) of zero. This change applies to both the A&T Back Office (ATBO) and the School Admissions Portal (SAP).
By allowing a PAN of zero, Admissions Officers can attach applications to specific bands for allocation routine purposes without immediately allocating places. This provides greater flexibility for local authorities and schools using banding. It reduces the administrative burden and the potential for errors during the allocation process.
Admissions Officers can now successfully add, update, and save bands with a PAN of zero. Additionally, students can be assigned to these zero-PAN bands as needed for organisational and allocation workflows. This ensures the system aligns with statutory admissions processes.
