Early Years – Funded/Expanded Hours (3.86)

Description

Previously a 2 year old was only eligible to claim either funded OR expanded hours. From September 2025 a 2 year old can claim up to 30 hours of funding. If a 2 year old is already claiming funded (disadvantaged) hours, these hours are protected. If a child becomes eligible for working parent entitlement (expanded hours) in the same term they can also claim expanded funding.

• Up to 15 hours of funded hours and up to 15 hours of expanded hours
